CD45RB Monoclonal Antibody (C363.16A), PE, eBioscience™, Invitrogen™
Rat Monoclonal Antibody
Brand: Invitrogen 12-0455-82
Description
Description: The C363.16A monoclonal antibody reacts with the exon B-dependent isoform of mouse CD45. This CD45 isoform is expressed by thymocytes, peripheral B cells and a subpopulation of T cells at high density and by dendritic cells and macrophages at low density. CD45 is a protein tyrosine phosphatase and serves an important role in leukocyte signal transduction. Applications Reported: The C363.16A antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: The C363.16A antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 μg per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
CD45RB is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase, CD45 glycoprotein. CD45 is crucial in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, serving as an important regulator of Src-family kinases, promotes cell survival by modulating integrin-mediated signal transduction pathway and is also involved in DNA fragmentation during apoptosis. CD45 isoforms differ in their extracellular domains, but share identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains. CD45 isoforms differ in their ability to translocate into the glycosphingolipid-enriched membrane domains and their expression depends on cell type and physiological state of the cell. CD45RB is expressed in microglia and inflammatory cells. In addition to involvement in immunoreceptor signaling, CD45 is important in promoting cell survival by modulating integrin-mediated signal transduction pathway and is involved in DNA fragmentation during apoptosis. CD45 is expressed on cells of the human hematopoietic lineage with the exception of mature red cells.Specifications
