Description
Description: The FR70 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD70, a 30-33 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein. CD70 is a member of the TNF family and is expressed by activated mouse T and B lymphocytes. Interaction of CD70 with CD27, its ligand on T cells, is important in T-B cell crosstalk and plays a role in costimulation and immune regulation. Applications Reported: This FR70 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This FR70 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of LPS-stimulated mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 μg per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is a surface antigen on activated, but not on resting, T and B lymphocytes. It induces proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhances the generation of cytolytic T cells, and contributes to T cell activation. This cytokine is also reported to play a role in regulating B-cell activation, cytotoxic function of natural killer cells, and immunoglobulin synthesis.Specifications
