Invitrogen™ CDK11 Recombinant Human Protein, Inactive
CDK11 is a member of the cyclin-dependent kinase 11 family. Recombinant full-length human CDK11 was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag.
Brand: Invitrogen™ PV6284
Description
CDK11 is known to be essential for eukaryotic cell cycle control and it is in close proximity to CDC2L2, a nearly identical gene in the same chromosomal region. CDK11 is a negative regulator of normal cell cycle progression and Its expression is regulated during murine embryogenesis, and its activity is coordinately regulated with that of p34 (cdc2) during the cell cycle. CDK11 gene may harbor 1 or more tumor suppressor genes that affected by chromosome 1p36 modifications in neuroblastoma. CDK11 could be cleaved by caspases and was demonstrated to play roles in cell apoptosis.
