GLP1R (extracellular) Polyclonal Antibody, Invitrogen™
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Brand: Invitrogen PA5111834
Additional Details : Weight : 0.01000kg
Description
Reconstitute antibody with 50 μL of double distilled water (DDW). The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4 degrees C for up to 1 week. For longer periods, small aliquots should be stored at -20 degrees C. Avoid multiple freezing and thawing. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10000 x g 5 min). Peptide sequence is: (C)KYLYEDE G(S)WTRNS Homology: Rat, mouse, human - 13/14 amino acid residues identical.
Glucagon-like peptide-1(9-36)amide and GLP-1(9-37) are the forms of GLP-1 that result from the rapid degradation of the active forms of the peptide (GLP-1(7-36)amide and GLP-1(7-37)) by the enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV, also known as CD26 or adenosine deaminase binding protein). GLP-1 is a peptide hormone of the glucagon family, produced by the L cells of the intestinal mucosa from the same prohormone as glucagon. The active forms are potent stimulators of glucose-dependent insulin secretion. The sequence of GLP-1 is fully conserved in all mammalian species examined so far.Specifications
