KingFisher instruments utilize disposable plastics made of polypropylene. The plastics, tip combs and microplates, are ideal for magnetic particle processing because of their low binding affinity for biomolecules. The special design enables excellent recovery of magnetic beads.  Specifically tested with  the TaqPath COVID-19 Combo Kit and MagMAX Viral/Pathogen Nucleic Acid Isolation Kit.
