Description

Description

MagMAX Pure Bind Beads are ready-to-use magnetic beads that provide optimized PCR cleanup, removing small fragments such as dNTPs, salts, primers, and primer-dimers. The magnetic bead technology allows for consistent binding capacity and highly reproducible results. The cleanup protocol is optimized for DNA fragments larger than 90 bp.

MagMAX Pure Bind Beads can seamlessly integrate into established workflows using magnetic beads for PCR cleanup. They can be used to clean up impurities throughout next-generation sequencing workflows.

Features of MagMAX Pure Bind Beads include:
• >90% recovery of DNA fragments larger than 90 bp
• Flexibility of starting sample volumes with the ability to scale
• Consistent results
• Compatible with manual and automated processes
• Room temperature storage

The use of MagMAX Pure Bind Beads does not require multiple bottles or long protocols. This product consists of just one bottle containing the optimized magnetic bead formulation, allowing a seamless transition into established workflows.

Sustainability
Additionally, MagMAX Pure Bind Beads are considered a more sustainable/greener product that can be shipped and stored at room temperature, allowing a grab-and-go effect to cut down on lab time. With the use of magnetic beads, the protocol can be completed manually or on automated systems, like KingFisher instruments.

Increase efficiency with compatible workflow products

KingFisher automated purification systems: MagMAX Pure Bind Beads have been optimized for use on KingFisher automated purification systems. Choose from the KingFisher Apex (Cat. No. 5400910) and KingFisher Flex (Cat. No. 5400610) systems to streamline your DNA cleanup. Reduce sample processing hands-on time while achieving excellent PCR cleanup quality and reproducible results. Users can process 60 µL of PCR sample volume in high-throughput KingFisher 96 deep-well plates. BindIx and BindIt software scripts for KingFisher Apex and Flex systems can be downloaded below.

Streptavidin beads for target sequence enrichment: For NGS library construction within NGS workflows, MagMAX Pure Bind Beads can be used in conjunction with Dynabeads Streptavidin for Target Enrichment (Cat. No. 65605D) to increase library concentrations and enhance sensitivity.
