Description

Separate mixtures based on hydrophobic (van der Waals) interactions with HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography). Nucleosil™ 100-5 C18 EC Columns come in a variety of internal diameters and lengths.

  • Octadecyl modified silica phases for HPLC
  • endcapped · USP L1
  • Nonpolar, endcapped phases for RP chromatography
  • pH stability at 20 °C: 2–8, carbon content depending on pore size (see table below)
  • Separation mechanism based on hydrophobic (van der Waals) interactions, slight residual silanol interactions 
  • Eluent in column acetonitrile – water
