(+)-Quinidine is used to treat or prevent many types of irregular heartbeats (heart arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation). It may also be used to treat malaria.

Solubility
Soluble in methanol, chloroform, alcohol (1 g/36ml), benzene and DMSO(100mM). Slightly soluble in ether and petroleum ether. Insoluble in water.
