Measured by its ability to cleave a colorimetric peptide substrate, N-carbobenzyloxy-Gly-Arg-ThioBenzyl ester (Z-GR-SBzl), in the presence of 5,5’Dithio-bis (2-nitrobenzoic acid) (DTNB).
