Description
Address specific laboratory needs with these specialty tubes offering unique combinations of features and exceptional quality. The 0.25mL and 0.4mL Thermo Scientific™ Specialty Microcentrifuge Tubes are ideal for small volume protocols when a standard volume microcentrifuge tube is not required. The 1.2mL microtiter tubes offer additional volume capacity for sample dilution. These are available in a pre-racked 8 x 12 format and can be autoclaved, sealed and frozen for storage.
- The specialty 0.25mL and 0.4mL microcentrifuge tubes are molded with an attached cap
- The 0.4ml tube is specially formulated from low-density polyethylene and can be easily cut for pellet removal
- The translucent polyethylene provides an excellent view of the sample contents
- The smooth interior and nonwettable surface aid in complete sample removal and recovery
- The 1.2mL microtiter tube has additional volume capacity for sample dilution and is ideal for HTLV-III testing, RIA, EIA, PCR, pharmaceutical quality control and blood bank sample freezer storage
- Frosted writing areas on each tube and an alpha numeric rack simplify organization and identification of specific samples
- The microtiter tube system is available in bulk packaging or with a SBS standard footprint
- This robotic compatible rack can easily integrated into automated liquid handling workstations
- A polyethylene plug strip seals the microtiter tubes tightly for storage; the eight plug strips can be easily cut apart for individual samples
- Rigorous testing to ensure sample integrity and security
- The 0.25mL specialty microcentrifuge tube can withstand a maximum G force of 28,000 x G
- Sterile product is certified free of RNase, DNase, DNA, ATP, bioburden and endotoxins
- Nonsterile product is certified free of RNase, DNase, DNA and pyrogens
- Specialty Microcentrifuge tubes are packaged in bags of 50 for contamination control
- Microtiter tubes and caps are available sterile and nonsterile
