Description
Graphite rod is used in computer brushes, anodes, arc lamps, carbon coating, cathode ray tubes, and moderator in nuclear piles. It is used for high-temperature crucibles, as a lubricant and in lead pencils. Graphite rod coated with Th(IV), plays an useful application for ion selective electrode based on thorium oxinate complex. It is also essential for the preparation of lead(II)-selective PVC-coated graphite rod electrode.
