Designed to provide non-intrusive surface temperature measurements. Hanna Instruments™ Infrared Thermometer for the Food Industry features a 1-second response time, a HOLD function, and a battery life indicator. There are two models, each offering a different measurement range and resolution.
Brand: Hanna Instruments™ HI-99551-10
Description
The Infrared Thermometer for the Food Industry is a durable meter that can be used throughout the food industry. The non-intrusive nature of the HI99551 is particularly attractive in the food industry since it translates itself into substantial savings by leaving products intact, especially those sealed or pre-wrapped. This type of non-intrusive measurement is also useful when the surface temperature is high, for difficult-to-reach places, or hygiene requirements must be followed.
- °C Readout: Measurements are displayed on the clear, easy to read LCD display
- Optic Coefficient: 3:1 relationship
- Fixed Emissivity: Designed to measure the temperature of objects with an emissivity of 0.95
- HOLD Function: Freezes the display to allow the user time to record readings when taken in hard to reach places
- Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS): Shuts the meter off when the battery power is too low for an accurate measurement
- Low Battery Indicator – Warning signal blinks when the battery level is below 10%
