Description

Description

CaptureSelect IgG4 (Hu) Affinity Matrix has been specifically designed for the purification and isolation of human IgG4 from complex sources such as plasma, serum, or cell culture supernatants. The affinity ligand selectively binds the Fc region of human IgG4, without cross-reactivity to other antibody subclasses and isotypes. The affinity resin enables a robust and efficient purification process with excellent purity obtained in a single step.

Features of this affinity matrix include:

  • Highly selective for human IgG4
  • No cross-reactivity with other antibody subclasses (IgA, IgD IgE, IgM) or antibody subtypes (IgG1-3)
  • No cross reactivity with other species, allowing use of complex growth media containing fetal calf or horse serum
  • Excellent scalability
  • Non-animal-derived

Free of animal components

CaptureSelect products contain affinity ligands based on recombinant single-domain antibody fragments (VHH) created by a proprietary technology. The VHH affinity ligand is a 12 to 15 kDa fragment comprising the three complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) that form the antigen-binding domain, efficiently produced in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae by a production process free of any animal components (Animal Origin-Free).

Main characteristics:
