Choice of Materials
- Silicone (Versilic™) tubing—is biologically neutral and does not inhibit cell culture while meeting European Pharmacopeia requirements, USP Class VI biological tests, and ISO 10993 biocompatibility.
- ISOVERSINIC™ tubing—shows excellent resistance to strong acids, oxidizing agents, and aromatic and chlorinated solvents.
- PharMed™ tubing—meets European Pharmacopeia requirements, USP Class VI biological tests, and ISO 10993 biocompatibility.
- PVC (Tygon™) tubing—handles virtually all inorganic chemicals found in the lab and can be used in corrosive environments.
